NTW: Paupa New Guinea

SCROLL DOWN

NTW: Paupa New Guinea

Motivated by the love of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, New Tribes Mission (NTM) exists to assist the ministry of the local church. This happens through evangelizing unreached people groups, translating the Scriptures, and establishing indigenous churches that glorify God.

Today, Aaron and Lori Luse are working among the Patpatar people in Papua New Guinea. Together they are working to accomplish their goals of teaching and discipling the infant church, creating resources to help educate the Patpatar people, teaching the Bible, and translating the Old Testament portions.

Sunnybrook has partnered with the Luse’s work in Papua New Guinea for several years.

Promise For Haiti

Promise For Haiti

Promise for Haiti exists to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with, and investing in, local Haitian leaders to provide the best healthcare and education in Haiti.

Promise for Haiti was founded by Dr. Guy Theodore, a Haitian native. The current hospital has 65 bed and six clinics, including extensive an extensive public health program. Not only does it provide medical care, but brings hope for the entire region.

The organization also supports other projects including water wells, education through 9 area schools, and programs for agricultural and economic development.

STEMM - Tanzania

STEMM - Tanzania

Created to develop a relational bridge between Siouxland and Tanzania by addressing the priorities of spiritual growth, medical care, and educational opportunities. With building the relationship, the overwhelming AIDS orphan crisis was one that could not be ignored and today is also an integral part of the STEMM ministry.

STEMM believes by “giving back”, we build a “bridge of hope” for those who have almost no hope. By sharing only a small part of our blessings, we can give them a future.

Sunnybrook has supported STEMM for several years.

United Christians International

United Christians International

With evangelism, discipleship, and training as the main focus of United Christian International's (UCI) ministries, God has enabled the people of UCI to offer hope and livelihood to many lost in voodoo and suffering from the abject poverty of the region.  UCI’s goals are to teach the Word of God, train and equip national leaders, and unite Christians around the world.

UCI was founded by Pastor JeanJean and Kristie Mompremier in 2005 and exists in the Central Plateau of Haiti. Today, UCI meets their goals by evangelizing in the voodoo community, discipleship through pastoral training and leadership development, education with a Christian college and Christian elementary school, agriculture projects and training, and community service projects.

Sunnybrook has partnered with UCI for __years. Each summer, the high school students travel to UCI for a short-term mission trip where they focus on putting on a large conference for students in the surround area.
