The 4 Bases are a series of classes designed to help you grow in Christ and live a purpose-filled life. The 4 Bases are also a great way to get to know other people at Sunnybrook. Members at Sunnybrook are strongly encouraged to attend all 4 Base classes.
The 4 Bases will be offered during the month of October at two times -- from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sundays and from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursdays. To register, contact the church office.
Base 1: Knowing Christ
October 5 & October 9
Teacher: Pastor Jeff Moes
This class covers how to have a personal relationship with God, what Sunnybrook's purpose and vision is, and what we believe. This class also serves as the membership class for those wanting to join Sunnybrook.
Base 2: Growing in Christ
October 12 & October 16
Teacher: Chris Ver Steeg
How to read the Bible, how to pray, how to connect with other believers - this class takes you through the basics of growing as a Christ-follower.
Base 3: Serving Christ
October 19 & October 23
Teacher: Laurie Van Cura
Through this class, you'll discover how God uniquely created you to be part of His family, what your specific gifts and talents are, and how you can put them into action at Sunnybrook. Take a spiritual gifts assessment to enhance your experience of Base 3.
Base 4: Sharing Christ
October 26 & October 30
Teacher: Chuck Jespersen
For anyone who's ever longed to share with someone how they can begin a personal relationship with Christ, this class will teach you how to share your story and God's story.
