Sunnybrook Children's ministry exists to impact children and their families for Christ by providing a safe environment with age-appropriate Bible teaching and unconditional love, leading kids towards knowing and accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  The mission with each and every child is to SEEK those who don’t know Jesus, GROW those who do, and SEND those who will.  Be sure to "Like" us on our Facebook page "Sunnybrook Kidz" for the latest information about our ministries.  To register for any of our ministries, please contact Matt Holmes at or call him at 712-276-7915 x34.

Sunnybrook offers a full range of exciting teaching and fun worship experiences for children from Birth to 5th Grade during all three services.

A safe and caring place for babies and toddlers where children are nurtured in a Christ-like manner.

Kidzone is the training zone for kids to experience an authentic community and worship God.  Children experience large group music, age-appropriate Bible teaching from passionate small and large group leaders, and develop friendships with other children.

Special Ministry Includes Loving Everyone
S.M.I.L.E. is for any person with developmental or medical disabilities.  It is provided so that parents/guardians may attend service and feel their children are being loved in a classroom which provides sensory and special learning components.  Contact Tim or Jammie Geels at for questions or complete our child intake form to sign up or our Buddy form to volunteer.

New Believer's Class & Baptism

The New Believer's class is for kids 2nd-5th grade who have recently accepted Christ and want to dig deeper into their faith. This one hour class is held on a weekday evening and there is a strong emphasis on walking kids through the gospel message, spiritual growth, prayer, fellowship, evangelism, communion, baptism and more.  Parents are strongly encouraged to attend so they can support their child as they learn and grow in Christ.  After completing the class, your child will be given the opportunity to publicly profess their faith through immersion baptism at a Sunday morning church service.  For more information about this class, contact Matt Holmes at
