Scripture: Hebrews 13:5 …God has said, “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.”
Devotional: Have you ever tried to have a conversation with someone who is there, but “not there”? Nothing more frustrating.
There are some times that might describe your conversations with God- you simply feel as though He’s not there. But nothing could be further from the truth. God’s great promise is that He will never leave you or forsake you. You may feel as though He is not present, but God’s Word is something you can stand firmly on, despite your feelings.
When you trust in His truth, rather than your feelings, it changes the way you think. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” God’s Word renews your mind, gives you correct thinking, and sets you on the path that He has for you.
Trust Him. Take Him at His Word. And know that He is ALWAYS with you.
